The Bells are Leading is an interactive activity designed to illustrate the necessity of leadership in a group activity. Each group will be informed that they are going to play a song for the rest of the audience in just 30 minutes using handbells. However, there are a few problems that the groups will encounter along the way. First, the groups won’t know the name of the song. Second, the groups won’t get to use the handbells until they’re performing. Lastly, depending on the size of the group, some people may be responsible for multiple handbells.
